After being celebrated on social media by well-wishers, S.K. Boafo, as the former minister is popularly known, climaxed the day in style.
A surprise birthday party was organised in honour of the celebrant who is now the Board Chairman of Minerals Commission.

Organised by his daughter, Adwoa Sarpongmaa Boafo, the surprise party turned out to be a big one as many stars and other prominent people attended.
Kumawood stalwarts Nana Ama McBrown, Matilda Asare, and Portia Asare Boateng were present at the party.
Musician Fuse ODG also graced the party, which had Peace FM's Odi Ahenkan and Dan Kwaku Yeboah as MCs.
There was also political representation with Gifty Ohene Konadu, Coordinator of the NPP's One District, One Factory project.

The Peace FM newscaster and sports presenter were the MCs for the party.

The Kumawood actress was all smiles at the party.

Another Kumawood actress, Matilda, also looked excited as she dazzled in her white dress.

The celebrated actress arrived to much fanfare.

The Azonto and Antenna hitmaker was also a guest a the party and had a few words to share.
8. S.K. Boafo's daughter, Adwoa:
Adwoa Boafo is the one who organised the surprise party for her father and it would not have been complete if she had not spoken.

SK Boafo was joined by family and friends to cut his birthday cut in climax of the celebration.
