Sally Akua Amoakoaa, popularly known as Akua GMB, has admonished her fans on social media to be careful of those they surround themselves with.

She shared a photo of American rapper, Tupac, surrounded by some people who later betrayed him to death.

To Akua, Tupac did not know that those he surrounded himself with were not real friends, but rather fake friends plotting his downfall.

She completed her post praying that God would rescue everyone from fake friends.

Akua indicated in the caption that she came across the post on social media and decided to share it.

Fans have commented on the post with those who are aware of the troubles Akua has been through, consoling her.

Efia and Afua, for instance, prayed for God’s protection for Akua:

efianyanneh: “Eye asem oo God have mercy.”

afuaa.jd: “God bless you.At times we thought all those around us love us.The evil will go unpunished.”

Nana also appears to have had a bad time with friends:

nana_afua_sarpong: “I hardly comment on posts but sweetone, this can't go without without a comment from me because I have known way too much about how this world works! The very people you will lay down your all for, if not vigilant can easily break you completely. Life! But Onyame ne Hene.”

Actor Kobi Rana said he could relate to the photo and story:

kobirana: “Thanks I should have taken a photo like this long ago to tell the story.”

Beauty consoled Akua:

beautyhall_gh: “So true my sister. We are surrounded by snakes. But God is King he won't forsake us. Take care.my love to the kids.”

Obaa believes that no matter what, God will protect those who are his own:

obaa_afra: “Even though we are surrounded by soo many enemies, God always protects his own..”

Meanwhile, Akua GMB seems to have had a bad time with friends recently.

Her name popped up in the Papa No saga that trended in the media recently. The issue involved singer Mzbel and actress Tracey Boakye fighting over a rich NDC sugar daddy.

Actress Gloria, a former best friend to Tracey Boakye exposed her telling how she slept with Akua GMB’s husband, Dr. Kwaku Oteng.

Kani also revealed how Tracey was paid just GHC2,000 for sleeping with her own friend’s husband.
