Afia Schwar has waded into the popular Dr Fordjour-United Nations awards
According to her, anyone who fell for the award scheme should bow down their head in shame
Dr. Fordjour took over social media in Ghanan following news that he is an alleged con artist
Award-winning on-screen personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa known in social media circles as Afia Schwar, has thrown a jab the way of celebs involved in the UN awards saga.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, the outspoken actress indicated that anyone who fell for Dr Fordjour's award scheme is an apology to education.
She was seen sitting in her new home and sipping on a drink while she waded into the issue and spoke about it.
According to her, if care had not been taken and his modus operandi discovered, Dr Fordjour would have ended up presenting an award to former president John Mahama.
She appeared to have indicated that Dr Fordjour was not even handsome and had top celebs falling for his tricks.
The popular TV star went ahead to jab CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1 after he waded into the matter and asked Ghanaians to stop comparing him to Dr Fordjour.
Afia Schwar jokingly added that an election would be held between NAM1 and Dr Fordjour on December 7, 2020, and added that both personalities could be weighed on the same scale.
After making the said comments, Afia Schwar was seen laughing hysterically while relaxing in what appeared like a lazy chair.
Meanwhile, Kumawood actor Yaw Dabo has defended his fellow celebs who went to the Alisa Hotel to receive an award from Dr Kwame Fordjour under the pretense that it was an UN-themed award.
While speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Yaw Dabo indicated that he was sure that Sarkodie who is a superstar might have been a little misled.
He added that it was not easy for one to be considered for an international award of such nature so when such an opportunity comes up, one would relegate any other award to the background.
