Multiple award-winning dancehall king, Livingstone Etse Satekla, has reacted to claims going around that he has endorsed okada business in Ghana.
The Sobolo crooner, in a tweet, indicated that he has not endorsed the okada business which is one of the manifesto promises of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to Stonebwoy, the said video of him riding a motorcycle and being used as a form of campaign message, is not what it seems.
He revealed that the video was taken some 3 years ago and was not taken to be used by any political party or any other person for any form of advertisement.
The Putuu boss went on to categorically dissociate himself from the said video and added that it was not shot for the use of any political party or to propagate any campaign message.
His tweet read:
"My attention has been drawn to a 3 Year old video of me riding on an OKADA. Which is being Publicized As An Endorsement For A Political Party..
I disassociate Myself From this..
Please I Beg this is NOT in ANY WAY an ENDORSEMENT For ANY POLITICAL PARTY #GodBlessGhana"
A video of Stonebwoy which has resurfaced after it was taken some 3 years ago, has been reportedly turned into an endorsement video.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy is seen in town riding at the back of a motorbike in traffic.
Stonebwoy is heard lamenting about a traffic jam in town. For him, okada is good for people because there is too much traffic on the roads.
"Sometimes you need to join okada. Too much traffic in town. Okada is good for the people," he said adding that he was "running late for a concert."
As Stonebwoy rode along, fans who spotted him on the motorbike chased after the bike while hailing him.
