Ayisha Modi, one of the staunchest fans of Stonebwoy, has come under heavy criticism on social media.
This follows her attempt to mock award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, with a Grammy citation Stonebwoy recently received.
Stonebwoy, on Sunday, September 6, 2020, announced the receipt of a citation from in recognition of his participation on the Morgan Heritage's Avrakedabra album, which won the Best Reggae Album in 2017.
Coming on the back of Sarkodie's UN awards fiasco, Modi, who has been on the case of the rapper following the incident between Stonebwoy and Angel Town, saw the citation as a good opportunity to troll him.
In a post on her Instagram page, Modi made a photo collage of Stonebwoy's citation and a photo of Sarkodie with the fake award.
Sharing the photo, Ayisha stated that she was standing with Kabutey, a name a section of Ghanaians use to refer to Sarkodie.
And she closed her caption with running and laughing emojis which suggests she was making fun of the rapper.
"I stand with Kabutey ♀️♀️ #bhimnationglobal ," her caption read.
Ayisha's post has got many of her followers, especially those who like Sarkodie criticising her.
akua_rossy had a lengthy message: "Sarkodie has been ignoring u since and u ain't ashame of ur self...I love the two but u taking things personal to much, u can't compare stone to Sark in terms of achievement even @stonebwoyb knows that, Sark, Sammi and shatta were the seniors befr stone Soo the comparism doesn't make since. Its not as if they are fighting tomorrow if u see this two walking together u will be ashamed Soo it's better u stop that childish thing."
ayamderry did not see Ayisha's post as funny: "Is not funny any more! Today wey him own come...There is a saying that a fool see a downfall of another man as topic to discuss, but the wise sees it has a warning and alert to him."
remedy467 was harsher: "Pure stupidity. In this terms of awards, achievement stonebwoy is not even near sark one bit.. When did stonebwoy even begin to be recognise? Sarkodie started blowing since 2008 stonebwoy was known around 2015 and you are here fooling...let us give respect to those who deserve it.. don't support an artist foolishly just because you like him.. stonebwoy is a genius but his size is not sark believe it or leave it.. comparing stonebwoy to sark is like comparing Ghana to ."
officialqueency3 was glad Sark has ignored Ayisha: "I just love the way Sark is ignoring you cos you don’t worth his attention...madam act wisely for once okay. And act like a lady for once."
lexia0707 said: "Why are you always shading @sarkodie ... like you MOST be bored with your own life..... holding on to bitterness in your heart ONLY hurts you."
In other news, YEN.com.gh has reported that Dancehall superstar, Shatta Wale, has waded into the fake UN Kofi Annan awards saga.
In his latest video on social media, Shatta Wale laughed at D-Black, Sarkodie and other stars who are involved in the scandal.
He also claimed that while all the recipients paid GHC1,000 each, D-Black paid GHC5,000 because he wanted five flasks.
