Veteran Ghanaian Gospel star, Diana Asamoah, has dispelled rumours of her being pregnant following a photo of her that went viral showing a protruding belly.
According to Diana Asamoah, getting pregnant before walking down the aisle is a disgrace for women in society and she would not be a part of that.
A report by Omgvoice.com indicates that Diana made this statement during an interview on Kumasi-based Hello FM.
In her own words,
“There are rumours that I am pregnant and that is not true. In fact, I can’t get pregnant and give birth without first marrying. It will be big disgrace for me or any woman to get pregnant and give birth out of wedlock which I will never do.”
In a funny remark, the renowned gospel musician mentioned that her protruding belly in the photo that has got social media talking was due to banku and okra that she ate.
With my protruding belly, it is not because I am pregnant. It is due to some Banku and Okro soup I ate which resulted in the expansion of my belly,” she said.
In conclusion, Diana Asamoah mentioned that she is not in a haste to get a husband but is patiently waiting for God's time to get married.
