The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has revealed the plans by the NDC to create a permanent source of employment out of a temporary one.

According to him, the beneficiaries of the Nation Builders’ Corps (NABCo) would be made permanent staff of the organisations with which they are serving if NDC wins the 2020 general elections.

In a news report filed by Joy News, Sammy Gyamfi said the NDC has it as one of its major policies, if Ghanaians give them the nod, to create jobs for the youth.

He added that making the beneficiaries of NABCo permanent staff of their organisation is a step in the right direction to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country.

“Former President John Mahama says he doesn’t believe in ad hoc jobs.
He appreciates the fact that unemployment is a big problem and a security threat to a nation. So what he will do is to make all NABCo beneficiaries permanent,” he said.
