The president thus used the occasion to introduce the parliamentary candidates of the two constituencies – Nelson Kyeremeh, and Kwaku Agyenim-Boateng, who represent the Berekum East and West, respectively.
“I come to humbly ask you to vote for me and the Parliamentary candidate you have. It should be elephant for the presidency, and elephant for majority,” the president appealed.

He said the NPP has nothing to show for in their four years in government, adding that another four-year term could spell disaster for Ghana.
Mahama reportedly said: “God you are not wicked, God come and save us, God rescue us from the NPP”.
