22-year-old Ghanaian breaks Adwoa Safo's record to become youngest lawyer ever in Ghana's history

A 22-year-old Ghanaian named Akpene Darko-Cobbina has become the youngest lawyer in Ghana after beating the record of Lawyer Adwoa Safo.

Information obtained directly by YEN.com.gh confirms that Adwoa Safo held the record as the youngest ever product of the Ghana School of Law after graduating in 2004 at age 22.

In October 2019, Akpene took over the title as he was called to the Bar at age 22 and 198 days, beating Adwoa Safo’s record of 22 years and 280 days.

According to Ghanaslayers.com, the young man who now holds the coveted title, graduated from Mfantsipim in the Central Region and started his legal education at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2013.

In 2017, while doing his internship at Daily Guide upon graduating from GIMPA, Akpene sat for the entrance exam of the Ghana School of Law, passed and was admitted in the same year.

Subsequently, the young man completed his professional law course in 2018, got called to the Bar in 2019 and now works with the Amua-Sekyi & company.

Akpene Darko-Cobbina wants to become one of the finest practitioners of law in the country.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old Ghanaian, Adom Appiah, who is an author and a philanthropist is using sports as a tool to touch many lives in South Carolina, specifically Spartanburg.

When he was in 7th grade, his teacher urged Adom and his classmates to spend a fraction of the time they spend in class embarking on a social project.

That was the beginning of the journey as the young Ghanaian started this project relentlessly.

In another interesting report by YEN.com.gh, Ghanaian Veteran gospel musician, Diana Asamoah has released an emotional song for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ahead of the December presidential and parliamentary elections.

A video in which the song was played was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official YouTube channel of Hello 106.3 FM in Kumasi.

The evangelist implicated in the song that the current president of Ghana was chosen by God himself to lead the country, and nobody could do anything about it.
