President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who also doubles as the chairman of the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS), has since his election into his new office kept up with the good work.

On Monday, September 21, 2020, he paid a working visit to the headquarters of the ECOWAS Commission in Abuja, in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, the president noted that the visit was to enable him interact with the management and staff of Community Institutions on the collective agenda on integration and development of the West African Region.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Akufo-Addo held his first meeting as the chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, he held a consultative meeting on the political situation in Mali to help finality to the deliberations on Mali Present at the meeting were Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS.
