People say success comes to those who put in hard work. While being smart could also be a factor, the story of a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @neldom2010 supports the fact that committed efforts contribute greatly to one's life.
In a post on the micro-messaging platform on Tuesday, September 22, the young man quoting a tweet about a young bus conductor in Lagos state, said that he was also like him for four years to make ends meet.
According to him, between 2005 to 2009, he acted as a conductor to pay fees in secondary school. After that level, he worked harder in the same profession to pay for his WAEC and JAMB.

Just when you think he has done enough already, he added that while in the university, he was able to fund part of his 100 level fees with the job.
Like most grass-to-grace success stories go, he did not only make it, he is now about to finish his Masters of Business Administration (MBA). The MBA student said that he also has a great job and a very promising future of possibilities.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a Nigerian lady, Elizabeth Ogwo, overcame all odds to achieve her life’s dream.
In a LinkedIn post, she said it took her 10 solid years before she was called to the Nigerian bar as a lawyer. She also had to study at three different universities.
Elizabeth said when she finished secondary school in 2010, she thought hard work and her intelligence would get her the goal of being a lawyer, thinking she would not need God.
