A Ghanaian taxi driver whose name is simply mentioned as Michael has resorted to filling potholes on different streets after they took the life of his friend.
In an interview with YEN.com.gh on a special edition of YEN Hustle, Michael mentions that he is a father of two but stopped driving a taxi although it gave him a means of livelihood.
According to him, he now makes a living from the benevolence of people who see him filling potholes although he once used to be a taxi driver.

Michael says after his friend passed on during an accident along a street leading to Somanya, he started filling potholes in 2018 and has been doing that since then.
The Ghanaian father whose kids are both below 10 said that he has been able to make a manageable amount of livelihood as he is able to make between GHc 50 to GHc80 on a daily basis.
"Because my friend who was a taxi driver died because of a pothole, I do not feel comfortable anytime I see a pothole as I am driven to fill it and ensure safety"
