The chief of Dormaa Akwamu in the Bono Region, Obarima Oppong Kyeremeh Sikafuo, has stated in plain terms that John Mahama and the NDC will win the December elections.
He massively commended Mahama for his achievements in the Dormaa East Constituency during the erstwhile NDC government.
According to the Dormaa Akwamu Chief, the past NDC administration was generous to his people through the party’s policies and projects, that saw development in the area.

He explained that the NDC championed the developments ranging from roads and other infrastructure in the health, education, and agricultural sectors.
These, he said, are enough works that are able to help Mahama snatch power from Akuffo-Addo.

The chief added that God will make Mahama emerge victorious in the upcoming polls, adding that when that happens, he is sure development will come to his area.
“I keep praying that the Almighty God help you to emerge victorious and I know when you win and become the president, you will remember us,” the Dormaa chief said.
He made a passionate appeal to Mahama asking him to build a police post in the town to help improve the security situation.
Mahama had paid a courtesy call on the chief when he toured the Bono Region recently.
