Basketball icon Lebron James closed in on his third housing property this week after purchasing a stunning Beverly Hills mansion worth an estimated GHC214m
The property, built in the 1930s, belonged to the late Lee Phillip Bell, known for co-creating the soap operas The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless alongside her husband William.
It was previously been owned by the likes of Charles Boyer and Howard Hughes.
To say the home is luxurious would be a serious understatement as the property has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and two guest houses within the premises.
In addition, the house overlooks the lush Beverly Hills neighborhood as well as the Pacific Ocean.
Among the facilities in the house also includes two suites, seven fireplaces, a screening room, two separate guest houses, a lighted tennis court and a massive pool.
According to Forbes, this is the perfect time to be a home seller in Beverly hills as median home value is up 7.4%.
Lebron obviously did not have to be there to close the mega house deal as he has been busy with basketball with his side the LA Lakers.
This is the third time he has purchased a classy, expensive house in his life.
In 2015, he purchased a house estimated to be worth KSh 2.2 billion in Brentwood, Los Angeles before getting another property estimated to be worth KSh 2.5 billion in the same area in 2018.
Lebron is clearly breaking his bank for these houses but considering the fact he has made more than $300 million in career earnings, the purchases are fully justified.
The towering power forward is expected to make a further $70m in the next two years, if his contract is anything to go by.
