Akua Donkor: Moment GFP flagbearer filed nomination worth GHc 100,000 surfaces online

The adorable moment Akua Donkor, the flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), filed her nomination to contest as president during the December 2020 election has surfaced online.

YEN.com.gh sighted the exciting and somewhat rib-cracking footage on the personal Twitter handle of Charles Ayitey.

The footage showed that Akua Donkor presented an introduction letter from the Ghana Freedom Party to the Electoral Commission, introducing her as the flagbearer.

Also, as per the requirements of the electoral rule, the Ghana Freedom Party, through its presidential candidate, paid GHc 100,000 as the filing fee.

The cheque showing the payment was presented to the EC through Jean Mensah who is the chairperson of the electoral commission of Ghana.

At that point, the flagbearer herself lifted up the cheques and explained that three of the four papers she was holding had GHc 30,000 each whilst the last one was worth GHc 10,000.
