Heavy rainfall has hit several parts of the Greater Accra Region on the morning of Saturday, October 10, 2020.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Twitter handle of @ChuckAyitey, the motorists and drivers were seen risking their lives just trying to make their way through the heavy flood.

It is reported that the particular footage was taken around the Accra-Kasoa road that was fully submerged by the heavy rainfall.

In another report by YEN.com.gh, the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has released a full list of 17 Ghanaians who have filed nominations to contest as president at the December 2020 polls.

According to 3news.com, the list of presidential aspirants were compiled after the deadline for the filing of nominations, Friday, October 9, 2020, was due.

All the presidential aspirants paid the GH¢100,000 filing fee despite initial protests from some of them when it was announced on Monday, September 14 by the chairperson of the EC.
