Talented young teenager builds excavator with wood and syringe (VIDEO)

A 16-year-old boy identified as Hope Emmanuel Frank is a talented Nigerian kid from Akwa Ibom state whose dream is to become one of the greatest inventors in the world.

The young boy was interviewed by BBC News Pidgin after building an excavator with wood, syringe and drip set.

Apart from the excavator, the young boy also built a tipper.

Frank said it took him almost a year before he could make the excavator work, adding that condemned laptop battery is his source of power for the tipper.

The talented young boy could be seen in a video demonstrating how the excavator works.

He said people are always surprised when they see him on the street operating the excavator, adding that some of them give him money, which he uses to buy materials to build more machines.

Frank said the next machine he would be building is a payloader and a helicopter that could be flown with a wireless remote.

In other news, a young boy identified as Solomon Ukoha has built a power plant where people in his community can charge their phones and other gadgets.

The video of the power plant was shared by an entrepreneur identified as Ndubuisi Ekekwe, who said the boy allowed people in his community to make use of the power plant after building it.

Ukoha, who hails from Abia state, has joined other young creative Nigerians in proving that talents abound in every nook and cranny of the country.
