Comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger has claimed that she lost a lucrative job with Despite Media because of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to Afia Schwar, Despite Media once offered her a GHC300,000 (three billion old cedis) contract to work for them but because of the NDC, she lost that job.
Schwar made the claims in a live video she did on social media in reactions to criticisms from some NDC supporters.
The comedienne came under heavy criticisms from NDC supporters on social media after being accused of mocking the part's vice presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku.

Schwar in a post she later deleted shared a screenshot of Prof Opoku's makeup face and hair with a sarcastic caption.
The post was taken by many of the NDC's supporters as a mockery of their running mate. They descended on Schwar with many call her ugly and a hungry celebrity.
In her new video, Schwar has replied the insult revealing that she is a hungry celebrity because she supported the NDC.
It was in her explanation that the controversial Schwar disclosed that the NDC cost her to lose her job at Despite Media.
It will be recalled that Schwar was once the host of Okay FM's Yewo Krom and UTV's Kokooko shows, bother stations under the Despite Media group.
She further claimed that she was being paid a monthly salary of GHC10,000 month during her time at Despite Media.
The spat with NDC supporters comes Schwar snubbed John Mahama to endorse President Nana Akufo-Addo's second term bid.
In a video, Schwar indicated she would have wished to vote for Mahama who she calls father but Akufo-Addo's achievements were too glaring to ignore.
According to Schwar, Akufo-Addo's Free SHS policy and other achievements were her main reasons for choosing the current president over John Mahama.
