Award-winning Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay, has added her voice to a trending issue about the Gaming Commission barring celebs from advertising for betting companies.
In a post the singer made on Twitter and sighted by YEN.com.gh, Wendy Shay registered her displeasure over the recent decision by the Gaming Commission which comes on the back of a similar directive made by FDA.
She called on the celebs and players in the creative arts industry to put their personal differences aside and fight with one motive.
The Shay On You crooner indicated that she was ready to take on the Gaming Commission of Ghana and the Food and Drugs Authority to get them to rescind their decisions.
She took to Twitter to make a post on the matter. Wendy Shay wrote:
"GH Celebs can we put our differences aside and fight the system ?? I guess we don’t know how powerful we are ... Well I’m taking the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court Celebs are also Ghanaians and deserve better !! Ghana wake Up !!"
She adds her voice to dancehall star Shatta Wale who made a similar call to the authorities to watch the kind of decisions they make.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian actress and social media goddess, Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has caused a stir with her new photo on social media which saw her with a man.
In the photo sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, Efia Odo who is currently in the United States of America was seen getting cozy with a Whiteman.
