Actress Nana Ama McBrown has downplayed the perception that she has a problem with Mzbel because the singer once dated her husband, Maxwell Mensah.
According to McBrown, she does not have any issues with Mzbel as people think and it is about time that the perception should be dropped.
McBrown and Mzbel have on many occasions been rumoured to have issues because of Maxwell Mensah.

Mzbel is known to have dated Maxwell before he dated McBrown and eventually got married to the actress.
The singer in an interview in 2019 disclosed that Maxwell had wanted to marry her but she rejected his proposal.
Since Mzbel's revelation, there have been many recurring rumours on social media about she and McBrown not being on cool terms.
But in her latest episode of her United Showbiz on UTV on Saturday, October 10, 2020, McBrown featured Mzbel to the surprise of many.
Appearing on Kingdom Plus FM's debunked the rumours saying though she is not friends with Mzbel, they know each other and interact when they meet.
McBrown explained that she is a mature woman who will not have issues with another woman because she dated her husband in the past.
Citing herself as an example, McBrown stated that she also dated Okyeame Kwame who is married to a different woman now but she interacts with the rapper and his wife when the opportunity comes.
On Mzbel's appearance on her show, McBrown disclosed that she was pleased to have the singer because she was relevant to the discussion for the night.
Meanwhile, Nana Ama McBrown has warned that she would close down any school if a teacher beats her child.
In the same interview, she said she suffered before conceiving her daughter Baby Maxin and will not allow anyone to touch her.
McBrown said she is going to protect her baby at any cost due to the shame some people put her through because of her delay in childbearing.
