He added that he made a lot of preparations to be able to move from the Western region to relocate to Accra to be able to start his National Service.

After weeks of doing follow-ups following the submission of his posting forms, he went to the offices of GCAA only to be handed a letter of rejection.

According to him, he was asked by GCAA to go back to the National Service Secretariat for reposting but the outfit had selected some of the personnel who submitted the forms with him.

He asked why he was being rejected and who sanctioned it but he did not get any tangible reason or answer to his many questions.

Augustine Baidoo, after the not-so-pleasant experience, took to social media to bemoan the reason for national service even after he had showed signs of determination, drive for success and a serving spirit.

He went on to add that he was not sharing his story to be pitied but to question the powers that be over the need to have personnel being rejected by state-owned and run agencies when the motive of the exercise is to serve the nation.
