The father of the late Ebony, Nana Poku Kwarteng, commonly known as Starboy Kwarteng, has summoned Bullet to the courts over his daughter’s songs.
He is seeking to be handed over all the songs her daughter sang when she was alive and was being managed by Bullet under his RuffTown Records Label.
It is reported that Ebony’s contract has officially ended with the record label, thus, Starboy Kwarteng wants to end the deal officially by collecting Ebony’s songs.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghpage.com.
He is said to be resorting to the court now in other to avoid a fracas with Bullet as happened not long after Ebony died.
He has also confessed himself some time ago that he was benefitting from the 40% deal Ebony signed with Bullet.
Before that, the two had engaged in a social media banter with Starboy Kwarteng calling Bullet a thief.
He also accused Bullet of abusing his daughter many times when he was alive and went on to dare Bullet to swear if he never slept with Ebony.
As if that was not enough, Ebony’s father further accused Bullet of murdering Ebony, claiming that Bullet begged to go see Ebony’s corpse at the mortuary at 2am.
Bullet responded to some of the accusations and called Starboy Kwarteng a greedy and selfish man.
He denied abusing Ebony saying he was only helping her make a name with her singing talent.
Meanwhile, Ebony died on February 8, 2018, on her way to Accra from a trip to the Brong Ahafo Region, where she had visited her mother.
Ebony died together with her personal assistant, Frankie Kuri, and her driver, Atsu.
She rose to the top very fast and had 17 tattoos, and nine piercings on her body. Her tattoos rose many concerns because she was only 20 years old.
It was only after she died that the mystery behind her many tattoos was uncovered and published by YEN.com.gh.
