Popular Ghanaian actor and politician, John Dumelo, has promised to dedicate 50% of his salary to the youth of his constituency if he is elected into parliament.

John Dumelo made the declaration at his campaign launch covered by YEN.com.gh at Bawaleshie School Park on October 18, 2020, amid a number of other amazing promises.

The parliamentary candidate also promised that he would do what the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government could not deliver by building factories in every district in the constituency.

According to the NDC candidate, he wishes to establish a football team for the constituents at Ayawaso with 50% of his salary as an MP.

John pointed to many works he has done as a parliamentary candidate for the people of Ayawaso, which includes providing free tap water, and said that his victory for 2020 is assured.

Before drawing the curtains, the celebrity actor further assured John Mahama of victory for the NDC throughout Ayawaso West Wuogon.

In other news, Ghanaian celebrity dancer, Michael Amofa, popularly known as Ziggy, was reportedly arrested at East Legon over what was described as 'inappropriate dressing'.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Instagram handle of Zionfelixdotcom, Ziggy was spotted at a police barrier, handcuffed to a gate.

At the time the footage was taken, Ziggy was complaining in the video that he was still in custody over what would not qualify for any criminal charge.
