John Dumelo made the declaration at his campaign launch covered by YEN.com.gh at Bawaleshie School Park on October 18, 2020, amid a number of other amazing promises.

The parliamentary candidate also promised that he would do what the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government could not deliver by building factories in every district in the constituency.

According to the NDC candidate, he wishes to establish a football team for the constituents at Ayawaso with 50% of his salary as an MP.

Ahead of the campaign launch, he has undertaken several social intervention projects during the COVID-19 lockdown, reaching out to widows in the constituency, as well as helping brilliant but needy individuals in the constituency.

He would be going against the incumbent Member of Parliament(MP) for the constituency, Lydia Seyram Alhassan.

The MP took over from her late husband, Kyeremanteng Agyarko after he passed on from a short illness.
