While the video confirmed the collapse of the building and the over 60 people who were trapped, new information gathered has revealed that the building was six-storey and not three-storey as earlier reported.

In the video from the site, some of the victims who had been rescued were seen with police officers.

One lady who survived the building collapse was heard crying and narrating that she could not see anything because the whole place had become dark for her.

Apparently some particles had entered her eye and she thus could not open her eyes.

One of the eyewitnesses who spoke to reporters on the scene indicated that today was not a church day as it had earlier been thought.

But the church members had gathered to pray for their pastor (leader) who has been sick for some time now.

It was during their prayer that the unfortunate incident happened.

In other news, a young Ghanaian lady, Esther Owusu Ansah, also known as Maame Esi, has reportedly passed away.
