- It appeared the young man had gone to make some inquiries and picked one of the phones when the attendant left the counter
- The whole incident was however captured on a Closed Circuit TV and has been posted online

A video that is currently trending on social media has shown a man in a military uniform allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a phone shop in a part of the country.
The video which has since gone viral, saw the military man seated in front of the case that keeps the phones and was receiving a phone call.
There was no attendant behind the counter and it is probable that the caretaker of the shop had gone to get something.
Seeing that no one was in sight, the soldier quickly reached out and picked a phone many believe to be an iPhone, stood to his feet, hurriedly stashed into his pocket and walked briskly out of the shop.
While leaving the shop, another person appeared to be entering and they went past each other.
Unfortunately for the military man, the whole incident was captured on a Closed Cirtcuit TV (CCTV) which was installed in the shop.
It is yet to be ascertained if the alleged phone thief in military uniform had been apprehended and made to return the phone.
It is also yet to be known where exactly the incident took place and if the man in the military uniform was just an imposter trying to disgrace the army by carrying out his operations in their attire.
Speaking about security personnel, YEN.com.gh earlier that two Ghanaian policemen were able to escape unhurt after they left a gun battle even before it started in their attempt to foil a bank robbery in a suburb of Accra.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of United Television, it was reported that the policemen were trying to foil a bank robbery.
The robbers, upon hearing that the police were unto them, decided to use the firepower at their disposal to ward off the security forces.
