Election 2020: NDC's Xavier Sosu promises Madina new state-of-the-art market if he wins

The aspiring Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Francis Xavier Sosu has announced plans for the constituency when they win.

According to him, if the NDC recaptures power in the upcoming December 2020 elections, they would construct an ultra-modern market for the constituents of Madina.

Speaking during 3FM’s Constituency Debate, he said there is a need to give the old Madina market a facelift.

In a report filed by 3news.com, he said the Madina market will receive a facelift just like that of the Kotokuraba market in Cape Coast.

“When we come to power, we will uplift the market to that of the Kotokuroba market standard. I believe that if you put structures in place, Madina will be a better place,” he said.

Francis Xavier Sosu would for the second time be running for the parliamentary seat of the Madina Constituency on the ticket of the NDC.

In 2016, he ran for the seat and lost to the New Patriotic Party's (NPP), Alhaji Boniface Abubakar Saddique.

Sosu is however, very confident that he would win the elections and capture the seat from the NPP incumbent.

In other news, Controversial musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus has for a long time been known to be one of the staunch members of New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He has, however, announced that he is no more a member nor a supporter of the party he has always identified with.

He made this known while speaking in an interview with Ola Michael on Neat FM's ''Entertainment Gh''.

When asked the reason for such a decision to leave the NPP, A-Plus noted that he is really disappointed in the ruling party.
