Lady who fled her country because of war becomes pilot in the United Kingdom

- Maya Ghazal has overcome grave challenges in life to achieve her dream as she became the first female Syrian-refugee pilot

A Syrian lady, Maya Ghazal, has shown that no matter the challenges of the past, against all odds, anybody can still achieve their dreams.

Maya had to run away from her country, Syria, when she was just a teenager of 15 years old. Luckily for her, the United Kingdom received her with open arms.

While in the country, the teenager swotted hard and became a good English user and speaker before she made it into an engineering program

Despite life dealing her an ugly blow, she had a dream to become the first Syrian-refugee female pilot, and she achieved that.

In commending the lady, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees posted her photo as a teen and now that she has fulfilled her dream, telling Maya they are proud of her.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that years after posing beside an aeroplane, a young man with the Twitter handle @WorstBehavior78 finally fulfilled his dream of being a pilot.

@WorstBehavior78 revealed this as he joined the "How it started. How it is going" challenge on Twitter.

His post on Twitter has gone really viral as many tweeted on the need to keep working on one's dream no matter how big it seems.
