- Salma Mumin took to her social media account to announce that her GHc 10,000 had disappeared from her MTN Momo account

- Apparently she lied about that and MTN has exposed her

- She was asked to apologise or be dragged to court

- Out of shame, she has taken back her words and apologised to MTN

Some days ago, Ghanaian actress nd entrepreneur Salma Mumin took to her social media account to announce that her GHc 10,000 had disappeared into thing air from her mobile money account.

As a result of that, she called out MTN Ghana on her Instagram saying MTN is no more safe for users for those who use the network to transact e-commerce.

She alleged that the staff of MTN had stolen her money from her business account.

It happens that all what Salam wrote was a farce and that she had no such amount of money in her business MTN MoMo account.

MTN Ghana has, however, come to release a statement claiming that the post Shared by Salma Mumin on October 22, 2020, are false and misleading.

In the rejoinder MTN Ghana also noted that Salma was very aware that she had no such amount in her account as she had made believe in her social media post.

MTN Ghana however called on Salma to retract the said statement and render an apology within 24 hours or face court actions.

In reaction to the statement released by MTN Ghana, Salma Mumin has rendered an unqualified apology to the telecommunications company.

She said as a result f a misapprehension, she mistakenly and unfortunately made a post to bastardise MTN Ghana.

She added that she was clearly mistaken and retract the comments made to MTN Ghana

Salma also apologised for any inconvenience caused to MTN Ghana by her post.
