YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of some people believed to be party members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the were spotted carting some items to their cars.
According to the caption accompanying the video the men spotted in the video are members of the opposition NDC in the Suame constituency in the Ashanti region.
The men were were spotted moving office furniture, electrical appliances like television sets, fans and other things into a waiting tricycle, popularly known as Aboboyaa.
The reason for their action is not clearly known as nothing was made known by form of commentary in the video.
The video report also indicated that they has locked out party executives from accessing the facility.
The Suame constituency is known as one of the strongholds of the New Patriotic Party since democratic rule.
In 1992 the NPP boycotted the elections giving the NDC the opportunity to go to parliament.
In the next election, the Majority leader, Osel Kyei Mensah Bonsu, won the seat for the NPP and has since been representing the constituency in parliament.
This 2020 general elections will see Francis Dodovi of the NDC rubbing shoulders with the incumbent MP, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
Francis Dododvi is known to be a very vocal person in the Suame constituency.
Despite being such a vocal person, it would be hard for Dodovi to win the Suame seat as the NPP has a strong rooting in the constituency.
In other news, the National Communications officer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has revealed that John Setor Dumelo has a ministerial position in the next Mahama administration.
Gyamfi said the parliamentary candidate from the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency is not just a mere candidate but has a great potential ahead of him.
He made this know while speaking at the campaign launch of John Dumelo on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
According to him, since John Dumelo's main aim is to help provide jobs for people in the constituency, it is just in line with the one million jobs promised by John Mahama when he wins the election.
Sammy Gyamfi added that if John Mahama and the NDC win the 2020 elections and Dumelo is made a minister, it all goes to the good of the constituents.
