The 2020 electioneering campaign is gradually heating up as the two main parties, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition Nationa Democratic Congress (NDC), canvas for votes.
Leading members of these parties have been crisscrossing the nooks and crannies of the country to send their messages to the voting populace.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is currently on a tour of the Central region spreading the NPP's campaign message.
On the first day of tour which started on Thursday, October 29, 2020, with visits to Gomoa East, Awutu Senya East, Gomoa Central, Gomoa West and Ekumfi constituencies.
One guy stole the show with his antics at one of the durbars held in honour for Bawumia. The guy came there to bathe in public.
In one of the many photos from Day 1 of Bawumia's tour, the guy is seen without a shirt on while he had a sponge and foam all over his body.
Standing in the midst of other people at the rally, the guy looked very excited as he took his special bath.
While one cannot exactly tell why the young man decided to bath at the rally, he had placards of "FREE SHS" and 'FREE WATER' right behind him suggesting that he was appreciating the free water directive by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
It will be recalled that Akufo-Addo, as part of the many COVID-19 reliefs for Ghanaians, has asked the Ghana Water Company not to take any water bills since March.
The guy's antics at the rally has stirred a lot of reactions from Ghanaians after th photo popped up on social media.
Michael indicated that the photo was taken at Gomoa Dawumrampong:
Bright urged the man to be himself:
Philip teased that NDC supporters were bleeding:
But Ebegyeso felt the guy was doing that because of unemployment:
In other news on the 2020 elections, the NDC's John Dramani Mahama has visited the Kpone town to campaign.
During his visit to the town, the former president made several campaign promises.
In reaction, to his promises the paramount chief, Nii Tetteh Otu II advised him to stay true to them and not fail his people.
