As Ghanaians weigh the strategies and information on the political parties in the lead-up to the 7 December presidential and parliamentary polls, the various parties are positioning themselves to win the hearts of the electorates.
The Conventions People’s Party (CPP) on Friday, 30 October 2020, launched its manifesto for the 2020 general election, with a plan to rebuild Ghana by restoring hope in government.
In the rib-cracking video making the rounds on social media, the leadership of the Conventions People’s Party demonstrates how they plan to obliterate and demolish the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win the upcoming 7 December polls.

The hilarious video shows two men with their bodies painted in CPP colours while carrying pots on their heads as they waited for instructions from the MC.
In a dramatic scene, the men are seen dropping to the ground following the directive of the moderator to demonstrate how the CPP will demolish the NPP and NDC to win power in the 7 December polls.

The video is generating buzz online as Samuel Nii Narku Dowuona, a social media user, took to Facebook to belittle the CPP’s plan of crashing the two major parties – NPP and NDC.
''#Xexe, I have two comments about this CPP rubbish.
1. It confirms that CPP actually stands for Concert People's Party
2. CPP has no respect for Ghanaians at all if they think this will make Ghanaians vote for them,'' he wrote along with the video.
Egya Adam also wrote beneath the post: ''Hahahahaha joke of the century.''
Responding to the video, Koku Peter said: ''I wish you had said something to confirm your claim of the 'rubbish' rather than those two unrelated pointers. Sometimes be guided by your attacks.''

In another story, John Dumelo, the popular Ghanaian actor now a politician who is seeking to be elected into parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, has taken his campaign to a whole new level.
In one of the photos sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.com and Factsandtruths_official, the politician was seen 'hanging' on a truck attempting to speak with the driver. Other shots taken show him mingling with 'trotro' passengers, pedestrians minding their own businesses and construction workers at their job site.
It is clear that John Dumelo is serious about being elected as a parliamentarian for his constituency but that does not take away the challenge he would have to surmount on election day.
