Veteran Ghanaian music promoter and event organiser Sadick Assah, known widely as Sleeky Promotions, has condemned the act of top-notch Ghanaian celebrities endorsing political parties for money.

In a Twitter post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sadick mentioned that real musicians always have to be neutral and not to associate their brand with certain political party colours because of the agenda of making money out of it.

According to the music producer, he felt very disappointed seeing videos of Ghanaian top stars endorsing political parties instead of standing for peace projects that will help citizens to desist from violence.

Sleeky, who is well known with working for many great musicians, indicates he sees nothing wrong with musicians revealing their party colours and where actually they belong to, but he finds it so wrong for musicians to frontline a campaign endorsement of a political party.

His post suggests that followers of such musicians feel unsafe and their confidence in the brand of the musicians is reduced as they tag them as musicians for political parties and not for the industry.
