Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has savagely replied a fan who asked him to compose a song for his father’s party, the NDC.

The fan by the name Gabasa Abubakari observed that so far, no celebrity has publicly declared his or her support for the NDC like others are doing for the NPP with campaign songs.

Gabasa thus begged M.anifest to do a song for the NDC, using praying hands emojis to appeal to him.

However, the rapper replied asking: “Which party, birthday party or Christmas party?”.

The comment got 129 people reacting to it with some only laughing.

YEN.com.gh cannot say if M.anifest is affiliated to the NDC just because his father was a top party executive. It is believed that one naturally inherits the political party of their parents.

However, as they grow up to develop their ideologies, they sometimes change their party affiliations.

The fan’s plea comes on the heels of many celebrities publicly declaring support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and its leader, Akufo-Addo.

Two key people making the trend this week are Sarkodie, and Samini, who have even gone ahead to release songs praising Akufo-Addo.

Samini, in particular, has faced many backlashes from the public after his endorsement. Some people have called him a hypocrite and a man of double standards because of video of him criticising celebrities who endorsed political parties in 2016.

Many people have threatened to unfollow Samini because he did not say true to his words as contained in the video published by YEN.com.gh.

Others, though, have sided with Samini and declared their willingness to support him regardless.
