Abdoulaye 'ABD' Traore, the founder and CEO of WatsUp TV has been named among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans in 2020.

Information obtained by YEN.com.gh from Peacefmonline.com indicates that ABD was named by the Avance Media and Africa Youth Awards.

It is indicated that Abd Traore happens to be the only Guinean on the list and this becomes the second time that he has earned the high recognition.

Traore was selected by virtue of his works in expanding coverage of his entertainment television channel, WatsUp TV across the continent through Satellite and Digitial platforms.

He shares the list with notable faces such as Davido, Peace Hyde, Bobi Wine, Aya Chebbi, Caster Semenya and climate change activists Vanessa Nakate & Nisreen Elsaim.

As founder and CEO of WatsUp TV, ABD has led his brand transition from a TV show in 2014 to a 24 Hours Television Channel in 2020.

In 2018, he also launched his first entertainment music magazine named WatsUp Magazine, which was covered by Afrobeat highlife Ghanaian artist Bisa Kdei.

ABD was recently nominated in the Media Television category of the Ghana Industry CEO Awards for his exploits in the media industry in Ghana and across Africa.
