In yet another show of their strong support for Shatta Wale, fans trooped to the street to welcome him as he visited Kumasi on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale landed in the Ashanti regional capital on Thursday for a media tour.
Upon his arrival in the city, Shatta Wale was given rousing welcome only kings and presidents can get.
Shatta Wale was met at the airport by teeming supporters and had cultural troupe complete with a flower girl who presented a bouquet to him.
After receiving the bouquet, Shatta Wale gave the flower girl some money before granting interviews to some media people around.
From the airport, the Melissa hitmaker joined a convoy of vehicles to move into town.
Standing through the sunroof of his car, Shatta Wale acknowledged cheers from fans who virtually blocked the streets just to catch a glimpse of him.
Intermittently, Shatta Wale threw wads of cedi notes into the crowd which gathered around his car to the fans' excitement.
From the rousing welcome and treatment from his fans, Shatta Wale could easily pass as a president and it is no wonder that his manager, Bulldog, was recently comparing Shatta's popularity to that of Akufo-Addo.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale was mobbed by excited fans upon seeing him.
The Dancehall star had an interview at Hitz FM which is located in the neighbourhood and later passed through Tip Toe.
