Famous Ghanaian artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has amazed many people after asking his fans not to vote for him to win an award.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Twitter handle of the Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae singer, he was nominated for the Youth Leader of the Year.

According to Stonebwoy, the Youth Excellence Awards category he was in alone is so honouring and he does not need to win amidst all the giants he was lined up with.
To that end, instead of soliciting for votes, the artiste chose to rather ask his fans to save up for the upcoming Christmas.
This appears to be the first time ever that any iconic Ghanaian publicly decided to go the opposite path of an award that could add so much accolade to their name.
In another interesting report by YEN.com.gh, top Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has given Joey B the most savage reply on his verified Twitter handle.

To Joey B's question, Sarkodie said he does what literally translates from Twi to English as 'bask in the sun'.
