The known traditional worshipper appears to have succeeded in winning the hearts of the electorates with a self-sponsored bridge construction at Akomadan Zongo.
According to a report by ghanaweb.com, plans to construct the bridge had been in the books for nearly two decades, but nothing concrete had been done about it.
When construction is completed, the bridge will link and give easy access to residents of the zongo area to Akomadan township, the capital of the district.
The bridge, which is estimated to cost millions of cedis is being constructed over the Akomadan river. Construction began about a month ago and is expected to complete before the end of the year.
Residents of the constituency, especially those in the construction area, have expressed delight about the project.
They said the bridge, when completed, will ease movement from their area to the Akomadan township and other areas within the district.
