Election 2020: When I win, corrupt officials will be sentenced to life imprisonment - Akua Donkor

As the December 7, 2020 general elections gets nearer with the various political parties are intensifying their campaign messages across the country with a prime motive to woo electorates to vote for them.
The flag bearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has revealed that when she comes into power she is going to ensure that corrupt official are given a life imprisonment sentence.
According to her, this would serve as a deterrent to other members of government who had plans of being engaging in bribery and corruption.
Akua Donkor observed that both the NPP and NDC were established under bad notes through “Coup” and that has made corruption a very core of the foundation.

Speaking to the YEN.com.gh's Ashanti regional correspondent, King Amoah, Akua Donkor as part of her strategies to win the election, said she would make good use of the media to get her message across.
She also added that all her regional party offices across the country have been tasked with the responsibilities to engage in people at the grass root level to explain the parties manifestos.
Akua Donkor argued that both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Decmocratic Congress (NDC) are spending several billions of cedis to propagate their deceitful campaign promises.
According to her, some campaign messages from both the NPP and NDC need to be treated with contempt since their messages are mostly conflicting.
She also mentioned that Twi would become the national language which will be used in all institutions to operate,.
Akua Donkor added that because she and a host of others are illiterates, the judiciary among other sensitive state bodies take advantage of the English Language to overturn or delay justice to the disadvantage of the illiterate Ghanaians.
Akua Donkor added that the Ghana Freedom Party would have an all inclusive government elements like mechanics, traders, cobblers, lawyers, drivers, among all classes of people
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Madam Akua Donkor, has disclosed that one key policy she seeks to push when she becomes president is to give new mothers one-year maternity leave.
According to her, the 3-months maternity leave period given to mothers prevents them from spending enough time to cater for their newborn babies that need all their attention.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanaweb, she affirmed that she would contest in the 2020 election despite her 2016 disqualification by the then EC chairperson Charlotte Osei over improper filing of her nomination forms.
