Veteran actor Waakye appears to have recovered from his sickness that almost got him bedridden as he is seen on the streets campaigning for President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He was captured with movie producer Socrates Sarfo standing by the roadside with NPP flyers in their hands.

While they stood, Socrates took a selfie of them, and though he looks hearty and cheerful, Waakye, on the other hand, looked sick.

Though he tried to smile, his looks rather showed that the actor was not well at all. He being on the streets to campaign could also prove his love for Akufo-Addo and his eagerness to let people know the good works of the NPP leader.

Waakye’s appearance on the street could also be a way to prove musician A-Plus wrong that he was abandoned by the NPP when he was laying in his sickbed.

According to A-Plus, Waakye has made several calls on some key party members for support as he could not pay his medical bills, however, no one attended to him.

The actor, out of anger, fired back at A-Plus calling him a liar. He said contrary to A-Plus’ statement, he had received support from the NPP and had settled his medical bills.

Perhaps, to show appreciation to the party, Waakye decided to hit the streets to campaign though he might not have fully recovered.

Meanwhile, some top musicians have released campaign songs for Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

They included Samini, Sarkodie, Agya Koo, and one other musician as published earlier by YEN.com.gh.

They highlighted the achievements of the party over the past years and trumpeted why Ghanaians should vote to retain the NPP in power in the upcoming December elections.
