Mrs Lordina Mahama has been spotted in new photos while on campaign tour for her husband John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Photos of the former first lady sighted by YEN.com.gh saw her paying a courtesy call to the traditional leaders and elders of Kintampo and Nkoranza areas of the region.
Lordina Mahama was seen beaming with smiles as she exchanged pleasantries with the chiefs and people of the area she was visiting.
While on the road, she is believed to have called on the leaders to speak to their towns people to throw their weight and support behind John Mahama and the NDC.
The former first lady is playing her role in her husband's and NDC's bid to wrestle power from the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) come December 7, 2020.
Following her courtesy call in the region, Mrs Lordina Mahama posed for some photos with some party faithful who were on the campaign trail with her.
She also posed for some official photos with the chiefs and elders of Kintampo and Nkoranza; the areas she visited.
In other news related to John Dramani Mahama, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the former president according to information from the Special Prosecutor's office may face a 2-year jail term for allegedly guaranteeing a passport with false information.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb, the revelation was made by Ghana's special prosecutor, Martin Amidu.
According to the special prosecutor, Mahama’s younger brother, Samuel Adam Mahama, acquired a Ghanaian passport with a piece of wrong information in breach of the Passport and Travel Certificate Decree, 1967, NLCD 155.
Martin Amidu alleged that John Dramani Mahama together with his elder brother Alfred Abdulai Mahama, were the guarantors for Samuel Mahama’s passport.
