Rawlings: Nathalie Yamb replies lady who compared her to Nana Konadu

Nathalie Yamb, the lady who has come to be known as former President Jerry John Rawlings' 'soulmate, has been making waves.

This follows a tribute to the former president she shared on social media suggesting a special relationship between them.

In a series of posts Yamb who described Rawlings as her soulmate expressed her love for the former president while lamenting how difficult life was going to be without him.

A day after the tribute posts, Yamb has shared another video of her and Rawlings at a ceremony captioning:

"Mentor. Friend. Inspiration. My twin. The most transformative leader Africa ever had. We are going to ensure your legacy lives forever. ."

The new post from Yamb triggered a lot of reactions from people on social media and some of them happen to be Ghanaians.

One lady with the Instagram handle @a_adamoah commented under the post that Ghanaians love Yamb.

But another account, @shopping_mallgh, which seemed to disagree replied @a_adamoah that

"Pls pls we love Konadu [Rawlings' wife]. That's the only woman we know not wei."

In an unexpected twist, Yamb came to reply @shopping_mallgh saying:

"I love her [Konadu] too. I hope you show your love by voting her on Dec 7".

YEN.com.gh is still yet to confirm the real relationship Yam and Rawlings shared, but from her response, it looks like she knows Rawlings' family very well and knows what is going on in Ghana.

Meanwhile, former President John Mahama has led an NDC delegation to visit the family of former President J.J. Rawlings.

Just like Akufo-Addo, Mahama and the delegation visited to console the family over the death of Rawlings.

While Mahama had been expected to sign the book of condolence, National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has revealed that Mahama was refused access to the book of condolence.
