Reports have it that the Mercedes hearse carrying Ginimbi's mortal remains got involved in an accident
The car was hit by a commercial mini bus on its way to the late businessman's hometown

The brand new Mercedes Benz hearse that was carrying Zimbabwean millionaire Genius Kadungure, known widely as Ginimbi was involved in an accident.
Reports sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Twitter page of Techmag TV have it that the plush hearse was hit by a commercial mini bus known locally as 'Kombi'.
According toTechmag TV's publication, the Mercedes Benz hearse was on its way to Ginimbi’s home village, Domboshava where he was buried when the unfortunate incident happened.
The funeral of the 'rich kid' was held on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
After the accident, the hearse company is believed to have sent over a new car to continue the journey of transporting Ginimbi's mortal remains.
The accident damaged the front of the Mercedes Benz hearse causing its front left suspension to grind to a stop.
Judging from the video, it was a slight accident that resulted when the kombi hit the front bumper of the expensive hearse.
A day to the burial, Doves posted about their latest acquisition, the Mercedes Benz hearse, indicating it was one of a kind and the first one ever in Zimbabwe.
The driver of the commercial bus is said to have sped off taking advantage of the cover of darkness to escape the scene.
Ginimbi died on the spot last Sunday following an accident that occurred along Borrowdale road after a long night of drinking with some of his friends.
Reports have it that he perished with some of his friends in the fiery collision.
In other sad news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that multiple award-winning veteran Nigerian actor, Pete Edochie, has reacted with great sadness to the passing of former president Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Instagram page of the actor, he eulogized the former Ghanaian leader and prayed that he would rest in peace.
Pete Edochie is not the first non-Ghanaian celeb to commiserate with Ghana over the sudden passing of former president Rawlings as Nigerian singer Davido has also done same.
