- Bishop Charles Agyinasare says he won’t be silenced by NDC “attack dogs”
- The presiding bishop commended the NDC running mate for being peaceful
- Political experts say the NDC running mate can’t influence the 2020 elections
The general elections are just a few weeks shy of December 7. Political parties are racing against time to cement their campaign promises on the hearts and minds of supporters and swing voters.
From the campaign platforms to the congregation, political figures of all parties are doing everything possible to gain recognition and power to win the presidential election.
The second to John Dramani Mahama - Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, was at the largest church hall in Ghana - Perez Chapel - to “preach” the word of God.
The Presiding Bishop - Charles Agyinasare - welcomed her gracefully and also commended her for not using foul language against her opponents in all her political endeavors. According to Bishop Charles, the Professor has handled himself well by not using harsh and insulting words during her campaign endeavors.
Even as the Presiding Bishop heaped praise on the NDC running mate, he was not hesitant to warn that he will as well criticise the Professor and her NDC party should they do any wrong will in power or opposition.
He made it known that even the “attack dogs” of the largest opposition NDC will not be able to silence him while they are in power or opposition.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang was selected as running mate by John Mahama - making her the first woman in NDC politics to be the vice president running mate.
Political experts say the chances of winning the 2020 election can’t be based on her being a running mate but rather the track record of the opposition NDC as against that of the NPP.
