Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa sponsors all North Tongu SHS grads to check results for free

- MP for North Tongu Constituency, Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, has decided to pay for all WASSCE candidates in his constituency to check their results for free

- Ablakwa said he had arranged with every vendor in the constituency to present their total bills to him instead of charging the candidates

- The North Tongu MP wished all candidates the very best and also mentioned in a hashtag that his gesture was a sign that his constituency is rising

Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, the member of parliament at the North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region of Ghana, has decided to sponsor all the WASSCE candidates in his constituency.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Twitter handle of the MP, he indicated that none of his candidates would have to pay to check their WASSCE results because his office was bearing that entire cost.

In Ablakwa's own words:

Glad to announce that all 1,624 WASSCE candidates in my beloved North Tongu can now access their 2020 results just released by WAEC for FREE.

Giving more details on how the sponsorship will be ensured, Ablakwa said he had arranged with every vendor in the constituency to present their total bills to him instead of charging the candidates.

Before concluding, the North Tongu MP wished all candidates the very best and also mentioned in a hashtag that his gesture was a sign that his constituency is rising.

In another interesting report by YEN.com.gh, Shadrack Osei Boateng, a brilliant young Ghanaian student from the University for Development Studies, has graduated as the overall best student at the university.

Information obtained directly by YEN.com.gh indicates that Osei graduated with a CGPA of 4.94 although he was part of the first batch of engineering students.
