Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has said former president John Mahama was the one who fixed dumsor before exiting power in 2016.
Yvonne, known for her bold political utterances, was reacting to a post she made on a tweeter in which a user apparently misunderstood her.
According to the user by the name Antaru Mashud, Yvonne fought for Akufo-Addo to come to power in 2016 only for Ghanaians to suffer.
However, to clear her name, Yvonne responded indicating that she did not fight for Akufo-Addo but only took the dumsor vigil initiative for Ghanaians to get back their light.
Her response has garnered attacks on social media as some have disagreed with her that Mahama fixed dumsor.
Maame, for instance, begged to differ:
Bibini called Yvonne Nelson a useless woman in the Akan language:
King Rona also disagreed with her:
Isaac Ahasu agreed with Yvonne and called on Ghanaians to be discerning:
OT argued that Akufo-Addo fixed dumsor:
Kwame couldn’t agree more with Yvonne Nelson:
Meanwhile, shortly after Yvonne led that vigil against Mahama, she turned around to commend him for the improvement in the power supply.
She also showered a lot of praises on Mahama for some of his achievements before he lost power.
Yvonne, for instance, praised Mahama for facelifting the Kotoka International Airport, stressing that she was so impressed.
She again praised the former president for his massive infrastructural developments for Ghana.
