Uber driver hitmaker, Wendy Shay, has claimed that she was the one who saved the female presence in the music industry after her predecessor, Ebony Reigns, died.

According to her, some forces in the industry did not want to open the door for her. However, with the help of God, coupled with hard work, and dedication, she forced her way through.

Wendy Shay made this revelation when she made a post to welcome a newbie to the RuffTown Records family, Kiki Marley.

She advised Kiki to be hardworking and not let anyone stop her from reaching her maximum potential.

Wendy Shay further urged Kiki to be loyal to RuffTown Records and not turn an ingrate later.

She also advised Kiki against the possibility of her teaming up with others to bring RuffTown Records down.

Many people have reacted to her post heaping praises on her.

Kiki herself reacted to the post and was full of thanks to Wendy Shay for the advice:

Meanwhile, Ebony Reigns died in 2018 in a car accident together with her personal assistance and the driver.

She made a great name for herself within a short time of being in the industry, and had a total of 17 tattoos and 9 piercing at age 20.

Wendy Shay was signed on by Bullet, the CEO of RuffTown Records, however, Ghanaians criticised her highly.

She was accused of copying Ebony’s style, however, she was unperturbed and forced her way through to the top.
