A new mother shared the emotional moment she held her baby for the first time. @xodiaamond shared four heartwarming images of the first time she got to hold her bundle of joy while still laying in a hospital bed.
"When they woke me up to tell me I could hold her, a moment I'll never forget," she wrote as a caption for the post.
The tender moment she shared to the social networking site is a true tear-jerker. Over 137 000 tweeps liked her tweet and almost 7 000 retweeted it. The pure emotion in her face as she holds her newborn is spectacular.

In other news about proud moms, it was recently reported on a local mom who shared the story about her miracle triplets. Phumudzo Mabila is the strong mother of triplet girls. Phumudzo took to Facebook to wish her lovely girls a happy fifth birthday. According to Phumudzo, her daughters were born with many complications back in 2015.
She was told by doctors that she might lose all three of them. Their weights at birth were 1.3kgs, 1.1kgs and 900g. They were in the hospital for six weeks as one of them developed meningitis while another lost half of two of her fingers.
She shared that they beat the odds together. As all kids do, her daughters tend to bicker but she said she loves how they love each other.
