Sleeky Promotions, a popular Ghanaian music promoter, event organize and artiste manager who goes by the real name Sadick Assah has made a highly-controversial comment.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh on his personal handle, Sadick said managers of female acts must never invest in female musicians without dating them.
According to Sadick, record label owners and talent investors must totally desist from going into managing female musicians when there is no relationship.
Sadick defended his statement, according to Zionfelix.com, mentioning that from his experience, most female musicians are controlled by their boy lovers, fiancés and men in general especially when working with them on serious music business.
The promoter is known to have worked with many top musicians in Ghana including the Tic Tac, VIP, Empress Gifty Nhyiraba Kojo, Mr Eazi, Shatta Wale and many other African music stars.
Many have been reacting to the artiste manager's post.
Selina Afiba Addison, a lady, did not explain why but mentioned that she is in total agreement with Sadick's stance.
