Another NDC accident: 1 dead, 23 others injured in Ellembelle constituency

Another accident has occurred involving members of the opposition Natonal Democratic Congress, NDC, in the Ellembelle constituency.
Unfortunately one supporter of the NDC has died and 23 others injured after he was run over by a vehicle during a campaign walk.
In a report filed by Ghanaweb.com, the sad incident, occurred on Sunday evening at Azuleloanu, a community between Anyinase and Essiama.
The 23 others who sustained various degrees of injures are also undergoing treatment at the Eikwe Catholic Hospital in the constituency.
According to an eyewitness who confirmed the news, the incident happened around 7pm on Sunday, November 22.
The accident is another blow to the NDC which is already mourning the death of six members who died in another road crash.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a bus full of supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had been involved in a fatal accident in the Ashanti Region on the evening of Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Six people have died on the spot while about 50 others sustained various degrees of injuries.
The accident reportedly happened at Frante, in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Reports have it that the supporters were travelling to Ejura to meet the party's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, who is currently in the Ashanti Region for campaign.
